I spent a few days in Bacolod last month (September 2009) and will be spending a lot more time there in the coming few years. I am interested in learning how to play golf well, are there any courses near Bacolod. I am also interested in learning a little Eskrima or Arnis, any good dojos around too? Thanx for the help. Marapara Golf and Country Club is in the northern part of Bacolod. Take the Bata road going east and travel straight til you see the country club's sign. Another favorite of Bacolod players is the Binitin Golf Club which is just a little bit past the Bacolod-Murcia border. Victorias Milling Compound also has a golf club. There's a dojo that practices arnis in the provincial capitol lagoon in the early morning. I'm not sure which days of the week, though.
