we plan to spend one night in Bacharach and one night in Sankt Goar. We aren't sure which other villages along the Rhine we want to visit, and may not make the final decision until we've done the Rhine by boat and observed the villages from the river. Q?--Is there a particular type of boat ticket that will allow us to get off one boat, do a little sightseeing in a village, and then get on the next boat and move on to another village? Or, must we buy individual tickets from village to village. We're only going to be in the area from approximately 2:00p.m. on the 24th till 11:00a.m. on the 26th before catching the train from St.Goar headed north. Thanks for your help.
Looking for Bacharach lodging recommendations, thanks!
We are planning a trip and think that we'd like an apartment in Bacharach for 5 days. We will probably have a rail pass and wonder if anyone has any suggestions for day trips for a couple of those days. We will go to Cochem one day. We have spent time along the Rhine in the past. We look more for natural wonders (pretty scenery) than large cities as long as we can get there but rail. Any ideas? I know this sounds a little odd but we love factory tours of any kind also. Thanks
Can you recommend a quiet and clean B & B in S. Goar preferably under 100 Euro
I was in the town of bacharach last year. I had the most delicious gellato in this beautiful town. What is the name of this establishment and phone number. I certainly appreciate all info. Many Thanks, linda
My wife and I will be in Bacharach the first week of May. We plan to spend 4 days there. Are there any interesting things to do in this area?
Are there any special events that week?
