Dobry den, I consider going south up to Turkey (but It can happen that I will finish in Polish mountains-hahaha).However I also realised that Ukrainian currency is only one, which is weaker against PLN vs. 2008. So perhaps Krym (my teenage children want warm-comparing with Baltic- water)? My main obstacles are: -unfrienldly border- waiting time by car (for all of us) -What to see on the way after Lviv? Zigzags toward Odessa, Kamieniec? something else? -Are there calm villages (not necessary directly at the sea, but not far from it) -Are there uncrowded beaches? -Why many Ukrainians prefer Bulgaria instead of Krym? -Can I find modest (I don'care about TV and air condition) but spotless places with bathroom for max 7EUR/person) without reservation in advance by winging? Somebody in Polish travel forum wrote also about Kaciveli and Olenevka-these looked as more crowded (or I'm wrong) what do you think? Are there other places? How about Azovske More? Why is it less crowded? You can answer also in Ukrainian or Russian. Thanks,
Well, I can answer a couple of your questions. 1. Odesa and Kamienec are must-sees. Both. 2. Calm villages: near Odesa you can stick to Karolina-Bugaz. This placer is known for many motels and 'tourbasa' locations. Rught near the sea. 3. Calm beaches: - the most probably no. In summer time it's impossible 4. Bulgaria versus Crimea: Bulgaria is cheaper. I can say much cheaper and hotel owners don't try to rip you, their "proportion" service/payment is more adequate 5. 7 Euro per night is impossible in summer time. 6. In Crimea I'd stick for Miskhor or Simeiz, Alupka. These places. They are a part of so called 'Bolshsja Yalta" region. Much calmer and cleaner than Yalta itself.
