Avignon Travel Answers

Best centre to come back to each day?

We want to explore Provence (something I did over 30 years ago). Lots of places to see (for me to re-visit) but for night-life - and a really good base to return to after days out - Avignon? Aix? Arles? Or none of these? Advice please.

    I have been to all three places, but made Aix my home base for two years and never regretted it.
