I'd like to ask some advice on Avignon. If you had only 2 days to see Avigno, what would be the highlights to visit for those 2 days? Would it be advisable to go on foot? I've read many comments that Avignon can be a bit hilly so taking this tram would be best? Can anyone tell more about this electric train/tram? How much would it costs? Is there a cheaper day pass? What area/district has the best choice of budget hotels? I am talking in the area of 80 Euro below per night for a double room with private shower. Does anyone recommend a good day trip near Avignon which is worth visiting? Thank you all for your help! AL
