Yes a wellness centre is something like a SPA. Some hotels offers these amazing treats, like massage's, facials, etc etc!

I hope you'll find something I also remeber Vichy beeing in Auvergne and a thermal station + there is a cosmetics brand "Vichy" associated to the station, this could be your best bet
