Hi everyone,

Hello there, me again. We have to get to schachnerstrasse near the Donau zentrum, visiting Christian Buchmann. I cannot find this street on the map but I noticed the 20th dosctrict is next door to 9ith district which is where we are staying, next to Franz Josef Bahnhof. Is it possible to get a tram or other transport from Franz Josef Bahnhof to the 20th district and get near to Buchmann's office on Schachnerstrasse, where we will not be walking too far?Any help gratefully received. Thank you
I am in Innsbruck on 26th May and plan to hire a vehicle to explore the city for 7 to 8 hours. What are my options on picturesque routes?
Hi, we are going to Hallstatt in a months time, but when I checked the weather forecast it showed that it probably will be raining in this part of Europe. I know weather forecasts are not reliable in this sense - 30 days ahead, let alone the climate change, etc. - but I'm already thinking of backup plans - just in case :) I was wondering whether it would still be possible to go up to the salt mine and/ or ice cave if it was raining. Do they operate the funicular in such weather coniditons? I understand that on rainy days there is no point in going up to the 5 fingers and the viewing point, but I hope that the caves still can be viewed by visitors. Could anyone confirm this, please? Or do you think it would be better if I asked the tourist center in Hallstatt via e-mail about these things? Thanks a lot for your replies in advance!
I just found some limited information online about Winterfest. We will be in Munich in December and are planning a day trip to Salzburg. One of our travelers is an experienced juggler and might enjoy something like this. Is it an "open" sort of things, where you can wander the tents, or do you only purchase tickets for a specific show and there's only one thing going on at a time? From the English portion of their website it was somewhat difficult to be sure. Any guidance would be appreciated it. Opinions on whether it's worth it for the money are much appreciated as well.

Hi. Can someone kindly tell me does the 840 bus leave from any where near salzburg centre or is it only from train station, the price for Adult, the price for child.
There is 5 Adults, a 14 year old and 2 toddlers under 4 is it possible to get the Bayern ticket or the Einfach Raus ticket would this cover the 5 Adults €38 and the 3 children go free or do I have to get reduced fare for 14 year old. Advice on the subject welcome.
John
It appears that many people suggest "doing your own thing" and skip the pre-packaged tours on the buses. What about the Hop On, Hop Off bus that visits each SOM site? You can get off and send as much (or as little) time as you wish at each site. The only place not covered is apparently the cathedral in Mondsee.
where is the location of the nest where we can fly like an eagle?
Hi, I will stay in Viena with a 4 year child. Any recommendation about self experience about a Hotel in Viena that are not expensive!

I have a shuttle that is taking me from Český Krumlov to Hallstatt, arriving in Hallstatt around noon.
Then there's a train to Vienna leaving Hallstatt at 4:30pm.
This would give me about 4 1/2 hours in Hallstatt.
Is this crazy or is this an ok time to spend in the city for some basic walking around and looking at beautiful scenery? What would you do with that time frame?
Also when looking for trains Hallstatt -> Vienna I see a ton of different options for Hallstatt on the OBB site. Which train station should I be picking?
thanks!

2) Marionette show or other interesting , unusual shows to see
3) Best places to eat. good value and good food ?
ALSO: We will be going the beginning of June is it very hot there at that time or just medium ?
I can look up temperatures but the humidity and other factors can influence how it hot it really feels
All suggestions, very much appreciated !
We are travelling with two-year old children to Italy via Austria. Linz-Salzburg-Innsbruck- Brenner.
Can you suggest where is it good to stop on this way to have a rest, eat, drink, walk, entertain children a bit.
Thanks for answer.
We'll be staying in grundlsee for a week. We also rent a car. What places should we visit?
Would love to visit Gaisberg near dawn or dusk from Salzburg, however, public transport seems fairly limited. I know there is a Gaisberg bus that leaves from Mirabellplatz and it looks like the latest one leaves at 1503hrs (Mon-Fri). The latest return, however, is at 1555hrs!
I would consider cycling, but I would think it would be fairly steep going uphill and not sure that I'm up for that!
If I catch the last bus from Mirabellplatz, what would be the best way to return to Salzburg? Taxi? How much would that be, approximately?
Can you please Suggest 30 march to 1 April we are planning to visit
Salzburg ,Hallstatt ,Innsbruck .Is it good plan to visit in this month to Austria
