Why are you flying from Melbourne to Sydney, Melbourne should cover your flight home, but you have no details of where you live.

I live in Slovakia and I bought the roundtrip ticket from/to Sydney.

I guess you have your tickets already, but you would have had to stop over somewhere like Munich etc, so getting to Slovakia would not have been a problem. I am flying to Budapest in May from NZ and I fly to Singapore,Munich, Budapest, homeward I fly from Instanbul, Singapore,NZ. In Sydney go to the Blue Mountains if possible, and Darling Harbour is nice and a trip on The Manly Ferry is great looking at the Opera House and Bridge. Whatever you do, you will enjoy. Sydney used to have good shows on as well, Enjoy.

Have you booked your accomodation yet in Metung? You will have more options in Lakes Entrance which is more scenic than Metung. You will be able to see the fishing trawlers in port, walk across the footbridge to the surf beach & there are more places to eat dinner in Lakes Entrance. Also it is on the main highway so it will be easier travel wise. Sounds like a wonderful trip you have planned.
