Hi, this Sunday 27th Aug I'm driving from Umina Beach (actually 1 hour north of Sydney) up to Brisbane. I can drop people off anywhere along the way if you don't want to go straight to Brisbane. It's a large prestige car so sharing petrol costs is my incentive and a comfortable ride is yours! I can collect up to 3 passengers from Woy Woy railway station or Ettalong Beach ferry wharf (from Palm Beach.) I aim to depart around 8:45am arriving around 7pm in Brisbane. Hi Martin, I noticed that you've posted here about the ride quite a few times. If you're not having luck on VT, have you considered posting a flyer up in a backpackers hostel in your area? The route your going is really popular with backpackers and I'm sure you would fill your car w/in hours. When I drove around Australia I did the same thing when I wanted to save on petrol costs. I posted a flyer up in a hostel north of Perth and also in Alice Springs. Both times I had my car full in about an hour. Just wanted to suggest that. Good luck!

Actually I only posted this once but it came out twice for some reason. I don't know of any hostels close to here but it's a good idea so I'll try somewhere further away, thanks.
