Hello VT's I wil travel with a camper from Sydney to Perth, i wil go trough the Victorian Alps, Melbourne, Adelaide, kangaroo island or King Island. The great ocean Road and than to Pert. Are there any suggestion for my trip, don't mis etc? I am in Australia from 12 nov- 20 dec Maybe an VT meeting? I have the camper for 35 days. Greetings Alphons
Hi Your sequence is a little out. The Great Ocean Road goes from Melbourne to Adelaide mostly along the coast. Therefore you could go Sydney Canberra ( Capital City of Australia) Cooma , Threbo then down into Victoria and head to Melbourne, the Great ocean road to Adelaide and Kangaroo Island, then up to Port Augusta ans accross the Nullabore to Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. We did the GOR several years ago a very good trip and last year we went in reverse Adelaide , followed the Murray River inland through SA onto Mildura Echua, Swan Hill on up the mountains to Threbo , Cooma , Canberra, another great trip , but I think the GRO is best for the time of year you are travelling. You can do it in 35 days but stick to schedule and you will have a great time. Good Luck
