Anyone there in July?

Hi, I am a 19 year old student from Germany and I am going to arrive in Auckland on June 29th. Though I have already booked a hostel, I will have to search for a job and I'd like to meet some friendly, open-minded, funny, down-to-earth travellers! So anyone out there who also stays in Auckland and is interested in discovering the town toghether, in going for a walk at the beach though it's raining, on spending hours talking, ...
