Any recommendations for a tour company for a 7 day Scotland tour including the isle of Skye?

We will be flying into Glasgow on August 26th to begin our honeymoon. We'll be heading up to Loch Lomond first, and we are looking for a great company to use for our transfer from the Airport to our hotel in Loch Lomond. After an overnight flight, we just want to be able to relax on our ride up there and would like to use a reputable company with great prices! Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! :)

Any suggestions for a prepaid SIM card (talk & text - no 3G/4G needed) with good coverage in the Highlands and west coast? Low international rates preferred but not essential. It's also a plus if the card could be purchased at Edinburgh Airport (my point of entry). Thanks!

Hello all, it appears I made a bit of a tactical error planning our upcoming trip to Scotland - taking public transit on a Sunday. We were planning to take the bus from Inverness to Fort William, then change to a bus to Oban... but the bus Fort William to Oban doesn't run on Sundays. Oops...

Looking at various resources, it seems we have 3 choices. The first, suggested by Citylink's website, is to take the bus to Tyndrum and change there for the bus to Oban. The second, suggested by the Travel Scotland app, suggests the train to Crianlarich, changing there for the train to Oban (this would involve about a 2-hour layover in Fort William right around lunchtime - not the worst option in the world). The third, also suggested by Travel Scotland, would be to take the bus from Inverness to Spean Bridge, then changing for the train to Crianlarich (and on to Oban).

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

I plan to travel from Birmingham to Edinburgh. What can i visit and where to go?

Could you please give me some advice/improvements on this rough itinerary please? Haven't decided how long yet...but will be May 2014
Days 123 Edinburgh
Day 4. Head to Newtonmore via the Falkirk Wheel, Kincardine, Culross
Day 5 Look around Folk Museum before heading up to Culloden. Spend the night at Strathfpeffer
Day 6 and 7 Ullapool
Day 8 Head to Plockton via Gairloch, Sheilhaig, Applecross
Day 9,10 Isle of Skye
Day 11Go on Jacobite Train then head toFt. William or Oban
Then I'd like to spend at least a whole day in Girvan to chase up genealogical interests. Can anyone suggest a route please? Don't mind if it's a full day driving as we are from Australia and used to very long distances.
Am I being too ambitious with this itinerary? Should I go less places? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

It appears we'll need to take a taxi from Glasgow Queen Street Station, including Minifrosch. What are the rules as to child seats in taxis, and how easy/difficult is it to find a taxi with a child seat (if required)? Thanks!

Hi! We are a group of 3 in our mid 30s (husband, me and friend) visiting Scotland for the first time in early June. We will fly in from London and was hoping to get suggestions on itineraries? Here is what we are interested in:

-beautiful scenery (mountains, lakes etc)
-quaint villages, towns and pubs
-Edinburg
-nothing too touristy like Loch Ness (though a castle or some whiskey would be great!)

We are planning on renting a car but definitely don't want to pack in too many destinations and thus time in the car! We are flexible on cities to fly in and out of in Scotland.... Any suggestions on an itin would be much appreciated! I know we won't nearly see it all in 5 days but am hoping for a few great places!
