Delta sent all skymiles members an update on the airport. The update does not give info on people who are connecting to a domestic flight. It stops at Atlanta being the final destination. My question is are things still the same 1-Passport control 2-Get baggage 3-Clear customs 4-re-check bags to final destination The Delta message was misleading--Thanks if you have done it recently
If you are continuing on another flight, then, yes, the process is the same. The strange thing used to be that if ATL was your final destination after claiming your bags for customs you still had to go through security again with your bags, even though you were heading out the door of the airport, due to the configuration of the airport.

Thanks and that is exactly what I was looking for and now the message makes sense from Delta as they only addressed the Atlanta people who no longer have to go through the old process but we people who connect follow the same rules as before which makes sens-Thanks for the quick response-Gene
