Hello all! I'm travelling to Egypt in a couple of months & would be really grateful for any advice regarding excursions on the Nile. About 10 years ago I took a felucca from Aswan to Luxor which was brilliant. However, being a decade older, I'd like to travel in more comfort. I've been scouring the internet for a 3 night / 4 day trip from Aswan but all I can find are cruise liners, which don't particularly appeal to me. Does anyone know if it's possible to catch a Dahabiyya which does a short journey, or are they all 7 night trips? If the only other option is to take a cruiser, can anyone recommend a mid price range, smaller boat which might be suitable. Better yet, does anyone know of any steam boats, which don't require taking out a bank loan, doing the same 3 night trip? Thnaks in advance for any help :o)
