Does anyone know anything about Castel diLama? It is my grandfather's birthplace. My cousins and I will be visiting there for just one day.

Dear DawnMarie 1: Castel di Lama is a small village located in the Ascoli Piceno Province, Le Marche Region. It has grown in the last few years to a busy center of commerce and stores. There is still an old part remaining intact. I don't know your travel itinerary but you should definitely visit nearby Ascoli Piceno, Civitella del Tronto (in Abruzzo), Offida, Ripatransone, Acquaviva, San Benedetto del Tronto (beach resort).
