Hi, I'm trying to find some kind of programme to see if there will be bullfights at the Arenes de Arles when I go on a trip to Southern France in July-August. I understand there is also a type of bullfighting where they don't kill the bull also held at Arenes de Arles? Personally, I don't mind whether I see that or the real bullfighting. So is there a website? Or set annual dates? Thanks.
You can use the Calendar of Events at: tourisme.ville-arles.fr/us/m... In the drop down menu you'll find Bull Games. As far as I can see, they are all scheduled for 2011.

The tourist office may be a good place to start tourisme.ville-arles.fr/us/i... I also find Mr Google is a good source of help and information. You could also look at the VT Arles travel pages and browse Tips on Things to do and Local Customs. Just Type Arles in the Destination search Box at top right of the page. Good Luck.
