I was wondering where could I get some information on where I could camp in the winter. I'll be travelling in the pyrenees sometime between Feb and March for a couple of weeks. I am looking to do some mountain hiking trekking and would like to make sure that I know that camping is allowed in the mountains. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Wild camping is not allowed anywhere in Spain. Besides, most campings in the mountains will be closed during winter (not many customers want to pitch a tent on the snow). Some of the hiking paths will be not accessible. So, plan carefully your itinerary, and you should probably choose some of the not so high mountains.
