Hi I am meeting my daughters ship coming into Norfolk. I would like a place to see the ship "at sea" before it actually docks into Norfolk. Is there a good place to watch the ships come into harbor that is not on base?
Please, is there any way to go to Appomattox from either Washington DC or Virginia (preferably Lynchburg or Richmond) by train or bus? For what I researched so far, looks like the only way to reach there is by car... Thank you for any information!
