Hi, I'm hoping to visit the old Apeldoorn Bosch while I'm in the netherlands as part of a research project, only problem is I can't seem to get an answer about where exactly it is, for example, what road it is on, and what route I would take from Apeldoorn train station to get there... I have found that it is still in use these days by Heeren Loo. Any advice about where I would go to find these historical buildings would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
In Apeldoorn known as 'Groot Schuylenburg', de Voorwaarts 61, 7325 AA Apeldoorn. Rather easy accessible by train to station 'Apeldoorn De Maten'.

Interesting to look at at Google Earth. What's that big complex just North of it, Jaap. It looks like several pavillions of an institution. PJ

Have a look at: maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=... You don't need to install extra software for this link. PJ

"Pieter Jan": I see, that's 'Groot Schuylenburg'. "myrioz": forgot to mention Apeldoorn has also a memorial of the tragedy in Apeldoorn's Bosch. Perhaps you are also interested to visit: the address is Prinsenpark, Apeldoorn. See: members.virtualtourist.com/v...
