Hi, I am going to a concert at the Sportspaleis on a Wednesday evening. The concert starts at 20.30 but I am unsure when it will finish...I suppose it will be around 23.30/midnight at the latest.
Does anyone know if I can be sure to get back to Brussels via train that late? Will I be OK to get tram from Sportspaleis and then train from Antwerp Centraal in time (bearing in mind additional crowds, waiting times etc.?
Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks

Thanks very much for your help.
However, I am more concerned about whether post-concert crowds will mean it will take me a very long time to get from Sportspaleis to Antwerp Centraal.
For gigs in the UK, it often takes hours to get from the venue to the public transport stations because of queues, crowds etc. Can I expect the same in Antwerp? Or will I still be safe to assume I will make the train on time?
Thanks

the queues after the event cant help you there, but its usually very quiet at that time normally.

The last train to Brussel is at 00:25. You will need to get back to Central in time. The Tram (runs underground on that route) only takes about 6 minutes to get there from the Sportpaleis, however it is not geared towards moving big crowds, so try to beat the big masses so you still get on.
