Trusted travel agencies in Belfast? Want to hear about your own experience.

      Belfast Yesterday

This summer we plan to make a trip to Europe. So, we’re looking for the not too expensive travel agency in Belfast. I’d like to hear about your own experience. Thanks.

In blunt terms is the Titanic Experience worth it - I know that this is a subjective question and is there parking nearby. How long should I allow for the visit. What exactly is involved with the boat trip. The website leaves a lot to be desired. So often these historical attractions are not worth their money - being on a tight budget would the money be better spent on a pub meal?

      Many thanx

    • Bus from Airport and other transport

Northern Ireland Apr 14, 2015 at 5:29 PM

Flying into Belfast, will stay at Holiday Inn Express on University Street, were told to take bus 300 from airport to go to Europa Hotel Bus Station, is that going to be walking distance to Holiday Inn? Can't afford what I fear may be expensive taxi rides? Also is it about 10£ for return ticket (to and from) ? also where would I go to catch train to Dublin, from same hotel? Is that also walking distance? Thanks very much for any assistance. We are used to walking, though middle aged, just have to keep in mind we have two suitcases to tag from airport with us. :)

Getting to the Giant's Causeway in March?

      Antrim Feb 27, 2008 at 12:45 PM

      Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about going to Belfast at the end of March and really want to see the Giant's Causeway. Looks like Ulsterbus is the best way to get there, but that the route to Giant's Causeway isn't running until the summer. Anyone have any other ideas about how to get there?

      North West 200

      Antrim Jul 7, 2007 at 5:05 PM

I'm planning to attend the North West 200 motorcycle Races in 2008. From what I've heard, the sooner I book this, the better. Advice I need, please, is:
Does anybody know the dates of the 2008 races? I've looked on the Official site but they don't seem to give future dates. (I've also emailed the Tourist Board, who have ignored me.)
The race runs between Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine. I've seen two circuit maps, one of which suggests that the races go through Portstewart, the other that they turn off before it. Which is it?
And finally, best town in which to seek accommodation if I want to be handy for the start/finish line (given that I'll probably be on foot.)

I'll be in Dublin in two weeks and would really like to see the North, particularly the Giant's Causeway. What's the best way to get there for Dublin or Belfast? Are there places to stay nearby? thanks
