Is it true that they do random swab testing at Antigua airport on departure?
Well not sure if Antigua is "special" in these matters, and it is not just regarding departure from there. Swabing is a way of life in many airports, and certainly in American ones. What it means is not the CSI type of a DNA swab from inside the mouth. What an airport security swab means is that they sometimes swab your bags, and it is put in a shoebox size scanner, which scans for explosives residue, they also sometimes swab a person's hands for the same reason. This is only done on people that are pulled aside for a thorough scans. Here is some tips that are devised by the TSA, for easy security checks. Travellers are encouraged to know what to do to make the process easier. gadling.com/2010/01/26/ten-t... Have fun.....d:o)
