When we go ( and we are going WED) we will drive to Anna Marie to the dock to Fish it is lovely , you will often see manatee swimming around! Lots of small shops and resturants , we will drive into St Armands Circle to walk around and go to a nice dinner or shop. The group of islands Seista, Lido, Longboat and Anna Marie all all connected by bridge and very close none are more than 10 miles long. Anna Marie is a good choice we just prefer Longboat (not many Kids or touristy ) Anna Maria Island is connected by a bridge to Longboat Key.Anna Maria Island still has a small-town feel to it unlike many other places in Florida.
