When I was in SR earlier this year there were at least two (2) ATMs, both at branches of the Canadia Bank. You can Google for their exact locations.

Yes, some ATM's, although not as popular an option as Thailand. You will encounter some difficulty bringing in British Pounds or Euros into Cambodia as the prefered method of payment and currency is US$, something we totally didn't get. We address this on our pages. We met up with several Brits and Germans and they were find it quite difficult to get their money changed whereas we were using our US$ as currency. The Germans had to exchange their money into us dollars! Traveler's cheques a better option, or credit cards. If you want to carry small notes, exchange at airport once you arrive. Most hotels will exchange your travelers checks w/out a problem. Hope this helps, Homer

Hi Paul, Just returned from A.W.. GREAT!! New ANZ-Royal(Big Blue Logo) ATM near Old Market. It's very convenient. Most restaurants accept cash(USD) only. ANGKOR WAT is absolutely fabulous!! **Highly recommended & honest English-speaking driver---Mr.Phan You (sms to 855-12 893 653) CHEERS! Singapore Family.

There are also ANZ banks with ATM's in Siam Reap. When we were there in August the staff couldn't have been more helpful, in fact the bank manager even offered us a cup of coffee when we used there ATM. The ATM was knocking out50 notes and the manager cam over, introduced himself and adivsed us to change down (with no commission) with the bank tellers. He had just opened the branch and had been sent up from Phnom Penh to oversee it and went out of his way to offer his services, coffee, advice and a few tips on things. Great work.

Thanks for all of your replies, just for the record, there are ATMS at the arrivals hall at Siam Reap Airport, and there in an ATM booth near the old market, about a minutes walk from Pub St
