I will be visiting Angera for a week in mid-October. I have been to Italy before, primarily traveling through Toscana and Emilia-Romagna, but this will be my first time in the far north. My days will be free (I am tagging along on a business trip--my husband is participating in a conference) and I am curious what there is to do in the area. I am guessing that the town is fairly small--would I be able to walk most places? Is there a ferry that would let me do some day trips to other towns on Lago Maggiore? Any information is greatly appreciated. Grazie mille in advance!
