I fly into Clark Intl/Diosdado Macapagal Intl/Pampanga (CRK)from Macau at night - say after 8pm. Will there be any buses to Batangas at that time? I heard there might be an over night bus, but cannot find any info. As a family - arriving at such a time - would you recommend 1. Get a bus to Manila/ Bantagas 2. Stay the night and bus out in the morning Am trying to get to Puerto Galera but am happy to stay on the mainland if there are some good beaches...only a week stay
It's too late to attempt to get to Puerto Galera that late. Last boats leave for Puerto Galera at around 4PM from Batangas Pier. What you can do get to Manila and stay overnight. Then take an early bus to Batangas Pier then boat to PG.

Angeles is certainly no place for the family, best to move on anywhere else.

the philtranco bus services air asia/tiger airway flights so there'll surely be a bus when you land. the bus stops at: megamall in ortigas or in pasay city. would suggest get a small hotel in manila area (atrium hotel would probably be ideal) and get on the morning bus/shuttle to batangas pier. atrium hotel is right across the bus stations to batagas pier/puerto galera. and might be ideal for your family.

May I know where in megamall is the philtranco bus terminal located for going to Clark airport in Pampanga? May I know the bus schedule going to Clark int'l airport? Thank you very much. Regards, William

Not sure how large the family is, but if there are 4 of you, you might consider renting a vehicle to take the whole lot of you down to Batangas and spend the night there. Could cost you 3000-4000 especially if you're haggling at night. I personally don't think it makes sense to go to Manila for the night - that's two moves instead of one, but I agree that Angeles is not all that family-friendly, unless you're a bunch of adult brothers.
