Want to spend Saturday in Andorra while traveling from Barcelona to Toulouse. Planning to travel by bus, and would welcome recommendations.
Going from Barcelona to Andorra you can take an ALSA bus - the www.alsa.es web site can give you the times as well as the Map showing you where to go for the bus. Cost is about €25 one way and takes 3 to 4 hours. (It's also possible to take a bus from Barcelona airport apparently).

Looking at the trains from Barcelona, I think you take the TALGO train that leaves Barcelona station at 08.37 via Girona 09.54, Figueres 10.24, Portbou 10.48, Cerbere 11.11, Perpignan 11.43 and arrive at Narbonne at 12.20. Then change for a Toulouse train. ( Toulouse-Matabiau station ) via Carcasonne. Useful web sites for this: reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/qu... shows routes in Europe http://www.renfe.es/horarios/index.html shows routes mainly in Spain. (for the Narbonne train you may need to add Montpelier as destination) voyages-sncf.com/billet-trai... French railways

We are planning a similar trip but in reverse with a rental car. What is the border crossing like? Is there a customs station, etc.? Is there a limit of goods into and out of the country? I understand the petrol is very cheap. Thanks, Harri
