Hi, I will be arriving at Ancona Airport at 19.00hrs on Friday. Will there be a bus to Ancona Railway Station as the Conero bus timetable shows time at 18.50 as last bus. Thanks Regards Robert Malta
Last bus seems to be at 19 and you also have a train at 19.11 but I doubt you'll be able to take it if your flight lands at 19. If you booked a hotel in Ancona, you could try to ask them for a pick up at airport. Corra

I have travelled to Falconara airport and remember it as being quite isolated. There is a rail station at Castelferretti but the FS website shows the journey via Jesi and could take 2 hours. Taxis seem to be your best option but can cost over 30 euros, perhaps you will be able to share with someone. Good luck! :-)

Ian, you must be looking at another Castelferretti, as this station is only a few kilometers from Ancona, and the trip takes about 20 minutes. However, as Corra said above, the last train leaves Castelferretti at 19:11, so it looks like perhaps sharing a taxi may indeed be the best advice... Bill

Buongiorno Bill, I had found that 19.11 and thought that a later train was needed and I looked at `tutte le soluzione` There was a later train to Jesi where a connection to Ancona was possible. Anything to get away from the tumbleweeds at Falconara.:-) Actually, I quite like Jesi. :-)
