Anybody gone flightseeing to Prince William Sound from Anchorage? What are your thoughts/suggestions?
I recently returned from Anchorage trip and used Rust's Flying Service at Lake Hood Seaplane Base just adjacent Anchorage Int'l airport. While I did not fly their Prince William Sound flight tour, I hired a Rust DeHavilland Beaver float plane N4444Z and customized an exclusive flight (rode copilot) into several wilderness lakes for landings & takeoffs. Rust's has been flying Alaska since 1963 and is a first class operation with excellent mix of aircraft, prop & turboprop. I had a great experience with them. Will use them on every Alaska trip! Rust's Prince William Sound Glacier Tour is two and one-half hours and costs255 per person. They also have an extended tour that adds half an hour and takes in Columbia Glacier. That three hour tour is285 per person. Their email is: info@flyrusts.com Website is www.flyrusts.com Phone: 1-800-544-2299 or when in Alaska 907-243-1595
