Grandaughter's birth

My wife and I have never missed the birth of any of our grandchildren. We are trying to find acheap way to get to Parker where my son and daughter-in-law live. Is there any way to get there without it costing us an arm and a leg?

Do you mean the town of Palmer?? If so, Palmer is about an hours drive from Anchorage. So the most inexpensive way would be to take a plane into Anchorage & from there rent a car to drive out. Budget is usually cheapest, but check websites like orbit.com for sales, etc. Hope all goes well with the new grandchild.
