Hello. I'm hoping to hire a bar, or room in a bar, for three or four hours (somewhere we can drink and potentially play cards). I can't seem to find anywhere though...any suggestions would be really appreciated, thank you. A private room or cordoned off section in a public bar; either are fine.
Try the VOC-Cafe; see: http://www.schreierstoren.nl/ They have the basement for hire or you might use the Herenkamer with a great view over the canal. PJ
