Check out this website: www.raileurope.com I have used this site many times to buy train tickets in advance.(I live in California) It is a bit more expensive to buy tickets through this site than in person at the train station. But I like the peace of mind that having my ticket in hand gives me. Don't have to worry about the train being sold out. Hope this helps... cheers, -ale Once ordered, the tickets take about a week to arrive at your house

On www.ns.nl (international planner) a ticket can be bought and printed at home. Besides: on the Intercity train (every hour from AMS) there are no seat reservations.

Hi, From Amsterdam, the international train to Brussel goes 2 times an hour. I think it was at 15 and 45 but not sure. The trip takes about 2,5 hours depending where in Brussel you get op (Sud, Midi or Norte). You can buy a ticket at the train station. Have fun!

As said earlier, the IC train to Brussels runs ONCE every hour, to be checked on www.ns.nl Besides, it would be nice (and polite) to know if the info here was of any use to the original poster.
