Day Tour Recommendations

hi, if i am living in Amsterdam for 4 to 5 days from Jun 15 to Jun 19, how should i get about , or spend this days there? should i get those day tours? if so, where do you suggest i get those good and affordable ones? is it advisable to tour around other places of Holland from Amsterdam on a per day basis? thanks for any advice :))
