My husband and I will travel to Amersfoort in April, we live in New Zealand, and we watch the webcam for De Hof, we love it. My husband was born in Amersfoort. Grew up in Amersfoort, Our question is what is going on today,Feb 28th 2006.. there are large tents, looks like fun, but we cant tell what is happening, so frustrating, we have watched the happenings at the De Hof for some time now, and soon we will be there.We will buy the cheese and cut our hair and have coffee late at night and dance in the square Best wishes from New Zealand The wife of the Dutchman

I took a quick look. Seems it's promotion for the local elections at March 7. They now call it the Verkiezingsplein (election square). PJ
