I have been told to stay North of San Pedro as the Mosquitoes and sand flies were less than South. Have looked at several nice properties south but am avoiding them. Is this correct? Currently looking at Grand Caribe

Hard to avoid the mozzies in Belize, but your choice is just fine on Ambergris Caye. Make sure you are prepared for them, as they tend to carry machine guns.....d:o) Better also to aquaint yourself with the medical requirements for Belize. travmed.com/guide/country.ph...
