Is Alvor a good place for a family holiday? We will be going there next month.

    Alvor is the very best choice in Algarve. I stayed there last summer, two families and we enjoyed it a lot. Great beach with plenty of space, where you can walk for a couple of miles, clean water and sand. There are nice fish restaurants. There is an very old town with castle nearby called SILVES, and you can visit SAGRES the suposed old sailing school from prince henry, the navigator wich is quite near as well. It is quite near from the famous algarve cliffs that apears in the touristic photos from algarve. have a nice trip.
