What is the best way to get from Harskamp to Amsterdam

I am planning on taking a dutch course in Amsterdam from 12th of July until 5th of August. Is there anyone interested in renting a room or sharing an appartment? Btw. 21 years old from Croatia, studying medicine... :)

In 1973 some colleagues of mine (The New Kentucky Colonels) from USA performed in what they think was a club in Breda, NL called "Het Turfschip". The guitar players was the legendary Clarence White (of The Byrds).

Does anyone know of this club? Where was it located? Does it still exist?

well folks I,m in a bit of a pickle.In have to fly to eindhoven in the netherlands on thursday and then travel to minderhout in belgium,but after booking the car i have just been told that i will need a credit card when picking up the car at the airport.I dont have a credit card so thats the car gone.now I have to go by public transport and return that evening to eindhoven....question is how/what/which is the quickest and cheapest way to go.....

Is there a boat trip covering this? Or opposite direction please. I see cruises do this as part of their itinerary but I only want to go as far as Middleburg or back again to Amsterdam.Thanks AM

I was on yesterday re travelling to eindhoven and getting to minderhout on public transport so thanks to all for your answers.It looks like Breda is my best option as its only 36 mins from eindhoven.Now Breda is only 23 kms from Minderhout..any ideas what a taxi would cost??

We are planning on spending a month in the Netherlands. Where could we rent a furnished 2 bed apartment/house. Our idea is to enjoy the culture of the country. Live like the Dutch, and be a part of their daily lives. Where would you suggest? Our budget is reasonable, but not extravagant! Must be close to a train station......we are late 50's in age and active people. Would love to hear your suggestions/comments! Thanks...

So next week I'm flying into Amsterdam from the US and need to take a train directly from the airport to Paris. My flight arrives at 13:30. I looked at the NS website and saw that there are Thalys trains leaving at 15:30 and 17:30. My question is whether 2 hours between the arrival of my flight and the departure of the train at 15:30 is enough time (go through customs, get luggage, etc.) or if I should just wait for the later train.

I know this is not the place to asking about education, but I was looking to apply for a masters course in 3d animation in Amsterdam, and couldn't find any (if anyone knows of a college or uni with such courses please tell me) so instead I found such courses in the Utrecht University which means I might be moving there if I it is the next best decision. I'm obviously not choosing this in terms of university's importance but more rather to do with the location. I live in Lebanon right now, so I'm wondering in general, what life is like in Utrecht compared to life in Amsterdam?
