It was most likely a spammer, not a legit reply to your question. spammers are removed and that is why you can't find their replies.

There was a reply from one member - If you do not get an answer in the forum VT Mail 1+1 as he may not see the question. Copy and paste this link to his page "Homepage" - 1+1's Profile And you will see a place to send message. Read more: World Travel Forum You might be better off asking this question on an outback type web site rather than here on VT - sorry I don't know of a web site, but Google should be able to help.

Well I posted the link to VT memeber 1+1 as he might be able to help. I did NOT post Read more: World Travel Forum Which takes me to another forum post which is in fact an innocent (it seems) advertisement Marg

>I did NOT post >Read more: World Travel Forum Sorry Marg, my error on that part. When I checked the original posting and then copied the info you had written, for some reason that link also came through - sorry again. David

No need to apologize David it is not you...I know that and I should have been more specific. It is something that happens when you copy and paste a forum answer...I always delete this odd link now and do not follow it ....I asked about this odd link one time and someone said it was my browser but I do not believe that... I think it is VT...But when I follow these "links" there is no meaning to them.

It's not the browser and it is definitely VT. All data copied from VT is linked back to the page where it was copied from. Your reply was posted on his other forum post, and is still there.

Original poster (OP), try this link as a starter - wikitravel.org/en/Gunbarrel_... I believe this is the "road" you wish to get more info on.
