Wheelchair access and private tours and/or car with driver

We will be visitng Alicante in November while on a cruise. Since my husband uses a wheelchair, I am hoping some one can provide information regarding wheelchair accessibility (if any) of the major tourist sites. I am also hoping that some one can provide contact information for a company that provides private tours (in cars or vans, not buses) or for a car with a driver who speaks English.
