Have anyone stayed at the Regency hotel Alexandria? I am planning to stay there with my family (husband and two sons) for one week in the end of August, they offered us a sea view suite for 750 Egyptian pound/night (approx 90 Euros), does it worth it? or we can get a better place for this price? Last year we stayed at the Petit Coin hotel which was rated 3 stars, but in cleanliness and service I can not give it more than 1 if any stars.
Just returned from a couple of weeks in Alex & decided to never visit in August again .. most hot , very humid , crowded & expensive and the quality of service is far worse that any other time in the year .. I normally visit in May & November .. If you have to go in August , I suggest that you shop around and book way on advance .. Sorry that I couldn't be much help with your question about the Regency & best of luck anyway !
