Are there direct buses from Adana to Aleppo? Can you post a link, please? If not, is it better to go from Gaziantep or Antakya? I will need to organize visa on the border. One week more to go and I am getting restless here....

Hi, I only saw buses goes to Adana from Aleppo and it departs at 5.00 and 14.00. Does it goes to other southern part of turkey as well, eg Gazientep? Is there any night buses? I will be traveling in February and will it it hard to get a ticket on the day itself?

I want to fly into Aleppo then drive to Palmyra, on to Damascus and then to Beirut. Is there a possibility of hiring a taxi to do the surface part in Syria?

Hi, my flight would be landing in Gaziantep airport and i would like to know wether it is possible to go direclty from the airport to Aleppo with no stop! if it so expensive then i would prefer to go by bus but how to get sucha bus while i would be at the airport!? would it be easy to go to Gaziantep's bus station ? if yes then is there regular bus trips to aleppo? thx in advance!

Hello I will be flying into Aleppo coming from Istanbul on mid-December. I see contrasting news about the possibility of getting a tourist visa on my arrival. (I have an Italian and a Brazilian passport) I have sent a couple of emails to Aleppo airport but got no reply. Does any one know about visas being issued at the Aleppo airport? Hello, I will be a female solo traveler who is thinking of staying in Aleppo for a week or two and I do not speak Arabic or Armenian.... :( I am planning on the end of March 2010 or beginning of April 2010.... My questions are: 1) Any suggestions on where to stay? 2) Is there a safe tour guide that will show me around the city and sites? 3) Is there anything that I need to be concerned with since I will be a solo female traveler? 4) I would like to meet up with other travelers that might be there at the same time as me or locals that are on this board... any suggestions? hi , i am planing to go to Aleppo from turkey toward the end of September or at the beginning of December i will be flying from Istanbul to hatay or Gaziantep now the thing is the only way i found until now to reach Aleppo from Gaziantep airport is by a taxi which costs 3500 Syrian lira (more than £50) which is more expensive than my ticket from London to Istanbul! so if any body is interested in going to Aleppo from turkey in that time plz contact me so maybe we can share the trip if any body knows a cheaper way to Aleppo from Hatay or Gaziantep plz tell me thanks
