Travel to Aleppo from Gaziantep

Hello everyone, just some quick advice, I will be arriving into Gaziantep in a week and wanted to know if it is still ok to get the bus to killis then the taxi to the border followed by a bus to Aleppo once through the Syrian border? Any advice would be great. Thank you for your time mattbp
