Hi, We are going to Eden resort in Albufeira on the 15th September, its our first time, we are hiring a car for a few days and are looking for some suggestions on where we can go to. We were hoping to go to a couple of places a bit of the tourist trail, maybe some picturesque quaint villages and towns. We don't mind whether on the coast or a bit inland, but we don't want to be driving for hours at a time. Any suggestions of places we could visit would be great. Also, any suggestions for restaurants which are reasonably priced, we like to eat local food, as they say when in rome... Looking forward to your responses. Thanks.
I've been thinking of going on my own to albufeira (Oura to be exact) for a few days during mid september (12-17th) or and was wondering how it's like comparing to August (in which I've been there this week) mainly if there are still many tourists around, many people on the street etc...
Is it worthwhile bringing nets for over the bed to stop the mosquitos or are they not too much of a problem

We're off to Albufeira end July with daughter (15) and son (14). Any ideas about nights out with us? They might just be bit young out and about themselves? Any tribute band nights or music (not really 'clubbing' as such). Thanks
Me and my other half are travelling to Albufeira at the start of December. I know it is the quiet time of year but I am assuming there will be restaurants/pubs/clubs open? We are going Self Catering, so need to know what there is as an option.

Me and my husband, two children aged 6 + 10 are staying here in two weeks time.
After reading some reviews I am worried worried that there's not going to be . Much for the children to do. We're all inclusive so will spend a lot of time here. Anyone stayed at the Real Bellavista hotel and spa?
Thanks :-) x

When I visited Albufeira 3 years ago I noticed, that most of the people going out on the strip were tourists. So now I wonder if anyone knows some bars or cafes, where it is more Portuguese and where the young local people would hang out?
