hi all we have booked flights for August time but dont have any accomodation booked yet, we are staying for 10 days, can anyone advise wheres best to stay. Our children are 14, 12 & 5?? we have never been to portugal before so not familiar with the resorts. Thanks in advance peeps :)

Evening good people of Albufeira. Group of 6 going to be staying in your fair town in late June. Keen on a couple of rounds of golf, and maybe some clay shooting and quad biking. I'd really appreciate it if someone could recommend some establishments local to Oura da Prai.

When I visited Albufeira 3 years ago I noticed, that most of the people going out on the strip were tourists. So now I wonder if anyone knows some bars or cafes, where it is more Portuguese and where the young local people would hang out?

It seems Balaia-Sol Apartments are closed during winter. Anyone knows when will it open for this year season? Thanks.

Was going to book on Oceanus Aparthotel but saw very bad recent reviews on TripAdvisor about some works going on. Can you recommend similar resorts in Albufeira? Same league and price range. Thanks.

My son is going to a tennis tournament in the Balaia Tennis Club in Albufeira. Is there any hotel walking distance from the club?

We've booked a villa on millionaire's row for our holiday this year and i'm a bit worried about the safety of the area after reading about burglaries and muggings. Does this happen frequently in the area?

We would like to go after leaving school in June when the prices are cheaper, but one of our group will still be 17, and the rest will be 18. Is this a problem? Hi, never been here before and my partner & I are staying ALL inclusive (4star) at the Luna Alpina Apartments for 5 nights from the 10th October. I've checked the averages and from the reviews I'm reading my guess is that it's down to luck, as to whether or not it'll be sunbathing or jacket & Umbrella weather..... I managed to convince my partner to go here instead of Tenerife, but I have to say the beaches look so much nicer at Albufeira. Ok, so it won't be as warm as Tenerife this time of year, but can someone reassure me at all that it can get as high or even higher than 23C, as my partner's going to push me off a cliff when we get there :o/ ?! Just hope I made the right choice...... Thank you for any replies in advance ;o) Regards Beau Daniels

Hi all, am going to be a grand ol' 30 years old next month! (still feel 18 though :-) ) . Myself and three other lads are on a road trip from Porto through Lisbon to Albufeira. We will be in Albufeira from 18th to 22nd and my birthday would be celebrated that weekend. Hi, Me and my friend will be going on holiday with my family in august we are both 16. We want to go out clubbing and to the strip on are own a couple of nights of the holiday will we get served in any bars/clubs. Would we be able to get into Kiss/Kadoc? We are tempted to get some fake ID for the holiday would that be a good idea? Would we be ok drinking in restaurants and bars with my family without ID? Also is there any go karting anywhere in Albufeira as we would really like to do that too. Or even quad biking or something like that? What is the best beach in the Algarve for water sports?

Hi there, I stayed in Olhos D'Agua last year and loved it.....quiet and beautiful beach. This year I'm coming back but on my own with my 3 year old daughter. We did big things like Zoo Marine last year and this year, risking the weather at the end of April, I'm trying to have a cheap and cheeful trip. I don't remember seeing any playgrounds in Olhos D'Agua but does anyone know if there are some or where they can be found in Albufeira. Also looking for some cheap things to do and fancy mini golf.....anyone know where this can be done (I presume in Albufeira). Just need a few easy cheap things to keep the little one entertained so any ideas would be great in the area! Thanks Rich Thanks

hi there i will be visiting your part of the world (Albuferia)with my wife from the 9th of April 2012 till the 23rd of April 2012 as i have never been there before i was wondering if you can give me any idea's of what clothing i will need to pack. and what the weather will be like i amm allso wodering if any one living out there can tell me what i can expect when i get there ie what the place is like, will there be plenty of places open, any tips on where i should avoid or places i should try and get to go or see. we will be staying at the Janelas Do Mar Apartments in the area of Montechoro any informaition you can give me on the area will be of imense help thanks.
