Cycling from Albi to Cordes Sur Ciel?

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone knows what a bike ride from Albi to Cordes Sur Ciel might be like. Google maps puts it at about 20km, which would be ok for a day-trip starting in the morning, but I wonder what the terrain is like? Alternatively, what would be the least expensive way to visit Cordes Sur Ciel for the day? Thanks!

Dear fellow virtual tourists: Can anyone recommend a shortest route to Albi from San Franicsco? Should I fly into Toulouse? Does Toulouse's airport close to the train station? Do I need to reserve train tickets to Albi from Toulouse? Is the train the type you have to ride on the destinated time? Please advise on the method to arrive Albi. Thanks much in advance.
