where to buy the official miniature of burj khalifa without entering the towers
I was a UAE resident with sharjah visa. However, I left Dubai 3 years ago for good. I was a student. Haven't been in Dubai for more than 6 months and my visa expired in June 2013. I want to book emirates to fly to London. I have to stop and change flights in Dubai. Do I need to be worried about the visa?
Hi Guys, I am a resident of Ireland planning to visit Dubai this August with my wife and kids (2 boys - 8 yr & 4 yr old). First time travelling to middle east for holidays. Mainly have visiting places, shopping, food etc in mind. I am a Non-Smoker and non-drinker. NOT into sun-bathing, desert safari etc.
1. What would be the climate like in August in Dubai? My kids are only accustomed to cold climate.
2. Could you suggest few good family friendly hotels pref near Dubai airport? Room rate?
3. Could the debit cards from Ireland be used to pay for hotels etc and to get local currency to pay taxis etc?
4. What would be the approx per day cost for hiring a taxi with a taxi driver (who knows every nook and corner) for roaming around?
5. Could you suggest any places of interest for kids?
6. Any dont's in Dubai?
Appreciate any help....
Hi I am travelling to Dubai on the 12th May for 8 night but wanted to know if anyone can let me know some tourism companies I can book my excursions through or is it best to book when I am there?

My husband and I are travelling to Dubai in early April and will be staying 4 nights. I'm wondering if anyone can help me with some questions I have:
What will the weather be like?
We have a choice between the following hotels:
Sheraton Dubai Mall of Emirates
Hilton Dubai Creek
Four Points Bur Dubai
Four points by sheraton Downtown
Which would be the best and most convenient for getting around the city?
We have the following tours included
city of merchants tour
sundowner dune dinner
Are we better off doing a full day desert tour and exploring the city on our own?
Are any other tours recommended
and finally, recommendations on what to see?
I think that's it!!
Thanks in advance
We are renting a car to explore UAE and Oman and are looking for parking opportunities to visit Dubai museum, etc. how much are the parking fees at BurJuman Mall?
We are staying at the Premier Inn Investments Park for 3 nights and know that we could park the car for free at Nakheel harbour p&r and then take the metro, but would rather park closer by and then visit Ras Al Khor Sanctuary in the early afternoon. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
Thanks so much

Hi. Were going to Dubai in June.our first time. I am going with my sons, one age 9 and the other who will be 21 the week we go.(surprise trip for him) I am wondering what to do out there that will interest both ages. Particularly ski Dubai, would love to go as youngest never seen snow. But none of us can ski or want to take lessons. Is it worth the money for other things there and would both ages have things to do. Appreciate any advice on ski Dubai or any other suggestions.
