I just need someone to go to Luxor with, as my husband doesn't want me to go alone. We went in Jan. so he imagines the hassle I may get. So I need someone that wants to do their own thing like I want to, and just meet up for major stuff and to have someone as a source of help. I have Egyptian friends there and I know I will be fine, but it will reassure my husband if I get a travel partner. I'm interested in June. I'm not talking about sharing a hotel room.
I will be staying at the Sofitel, Karnak for a couple of weeks in late June early July 2006. Looking for general advice about exploring in the area, the temples, across the Nile to Valley of the Kings etc. Also good restaurants/bars within walking distance of hotel. Many thanks, P.
