I am a 40 year old single mom w/ a ten year old son planning our first trip to Akumal. I have narrowed it down to the Akumal Beach Resort or the Akumal Caribe. Any advice?
it deppends what are you looking for.but they look very similar,I think I d choose Akumal Beach Resort... =)

I really don't have an answer to your post, rather a question. I am booked to go to akumal in 3 weeks. I have been trying to find out if the area is back to normal or not after the hurricanes. I can get a lot of info on Cancun, which is not back to normal, but nothing on akumal. Have you been able to get any info?
