    Hi, welcome to VT.
Yes, it's easy to live in Ajman and work in Sharjah. Ajman is small, but like all the UAE is growing. There are compounds but also villas and apartments not in compounds and all nationalities mix in together. You could check www.gulfnews.com and www.propertyuae.com for rentals.

    Hi there,
Yes as Colin mentioned it would be easy to live in Sharjah and work in Ajman. In fact its ideal :-) majority have the opposite situation :-) The traffic would be kind when you travel to work and back.

Hi everybody, we also haven been asked to start working in Ajman. Can anybody give us a hint about the places where living is comfortable? We are looking for a quiet 3 bedroom independent house, we have a baby and a dog so it would be nice if there are facilities nearby. It doesn't have to be modern it can be a local house as well.

    Kind regards Birgit

    Hi Everyone

I am thinking of buying a freehold place in Ajman, a 2 bed townhouse for £130k. I have been to Dubai but prices are extortionate now so cant afford to buy there.

Is Ajman far from the beach. Fom the map I have it looks quite far in land.

What are the facilities like there and how far is it from the shopping districts of Dubai?

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Naga
