Lots of internet in the lakeside communities. A good webboard for that area, where you can get helpful answers to questions, is found at www.chapala.com.

if your granddaughter is 147 ... how old are YOU? lol just kidding. My name is Conner Wallis-Collins I work for a company called Collins Real Estate here in Ajijic. Internet prices vary. There are three companies at the moment that service this area. Telmex, Laguna (wireless), and Telecable. In my opinion your best bang for your buck is Telecable which offers high speed internet 5mb download for30 USD a month. You can find rentals furnished or unfurnished, and there are excellent schools in english or spanish for your granddaughter. My email address is nwtconner@hotmail.com if you have any more questions or visit my website at http://www.livinglakechapala.com
