We will be in Airlie Beach for New Year's Eve Could anybody recommend a good resturant/lounge to celebrate 2006?
sorry, I cant, but if your in the area on New Years I reccomend that you spend the night in Lorne. Its the capital of the Great Ocean Road region of Victoria. give Airlie Beach a miss till the next day or two.

Magnum's seems to be the hot spot in Airlie. Mainly a nightclub for young ones so depends on your age. The Airlie Beach hotel has a lovely open lounge/bar area right on the main street. Not sure of it's name. Airlie is only small and the whole place will be one big party. I suggest you book soon though...it is extremely popular at that time.
